I’m excited to again host the annual Simpson College Jazz Festival! Over the course of two-day event, we will welcome 30 high school bands (600+ students) as they work towards qualifying for the Iowa Jazz Championships.

A point of pride of the Simpson festival has always been the outstanding guest judges, and we continue that this year, welcoming: saxophonist Adam Larson (UMKC); bassist Ashley Summers (Chicago); and trumpeter Marques Carroll (Count Basie Orchestra).
